This Belgian-style Tripel is dominated by fruity esters of orange and banana, balanced with some residual sweetness from the malt. The Belgian yeast imparts a complex but mild spice, and presents as a yeast haze in the glass. We aged this version on Chardonnay barrels and then refermented it on apples! This beer style ages well over time so sample it often and enjoy the journey. This batch was aged on red wine barrels and cranberries!
