It’s here! Meet our brand new Throat Charmer Double IPA 8% ABV. Head Brewer and Australian Bloke Matty has been very excited to brew this beer, and the results are superb. Did you know a Throat Charmer is an Australian slang term for a beer? After a hot dusty day working in the outback, a throat charmer will really sort you out. Throat Charmer is our new American-style Double IPA. This beautiful beer is loaded with hops and it will charm you from the first swallow. It’s mouthwatering, crisp and clean tasting, and the late boil additions of Citra and Amarillo hops give it lots of citrus character. We also dry hopped it with the Citra and Amarillo to really amp up the hop flavor. You can taste and smell the piney resinous qualities of all those top shelf hops. The blend of English and American malts are accented with substantial amounts of Vienna and Wheat malt, which give it a great mouth feel and nice balance.
We’ll be pouring this new beer starting at 5pm on Friday. 2 Nixons will also be on hand serving up their amazing ramen and/or yakitori. Don’t miss it!
