First Blood
Blood Orange Hefeweizen

This refreshingly tart and crisp Bavarian style wheat ale has hints of banana, coriander and clove. In German the prefix “Hefe" means "with yeast", hence the beer's unfiltered and cloudy appearance. We’ve also added blood oranges in the fermenter which rounds out the beer with a subtle citrusy zest on the backend.

Wicked Throat Charmer
New England Ipa

This juicy New England style IPA is wicked awesome! It’s a nice alternative to West Coast IPAs. Dry hopped at the height of fermentation with tons of  Citra and Amarillo, this beer is definitely hop forward but has almost no bitterness on the back end. It has a hazy orange color, and is full of tropical and citrus flavors and aromas.

umlaut Kolsch

Umlat
kolsch

Kolsch is a German-style ale traditionally brewed in Cologne. We mashed our Kolsch with a combination of German malts, with an addition of Triticale. Triticale is a hybrid of wheat and rye and gives this beer a pleasant graininess. Hopped with a variety of German hops, expect aromas of freshly cut grass and pear. Traditional Kolsch yeast ties it all together, completing a very crushable beer for any season.

Kobold
american ipa

An American IPA with a foreign twist - we generously hop this beer with Simcoe & Citra for a punch of grapefruit and mango up front, then we ferment cool with our favorite German ale yeast for maximum biotransformation and complexity. Notes of blueberry & peach complement the clean, crisp finish to this international IPA.

CRUISIN

CRUISIN' FOR A BRUGGE-IN
belgian blonde

Light, dry, and funky - Our newest farmhouse blonde is brewed with Kviek yeast and wheat malt for a rustic pale ale. Hopped with Saaz for an extra traditional flavor, this beer is uniquely complex and perfectly suited for any occasion.

SOuthern Aurora
pale ale

This pale ale uses a truly international mix of ingredients - Vic's Secret hops from Australia, yeast from America, and grain from Canada and the United Kingdom. This all combines to produce a hop forward pale ale that is dominated by the passionfruit and citrus flavors of the hops, and a nice residual sweetness from the malts. Almost sessionable, we are sure you’ll want more than one.

Apple of My pie
apple pie sour

Fresh out of the oven, this Sour Ale is perfectly tart with a creamy mouthfeel. Lightly biscuity malt base blends with additions of lactose and vanilla beans for a smooth and toasty beer. Apple and cinnamon make up the "filling" for this beer - one glass and you will be craving homemade holiday treats!

digging in the dark

Digging in the dark
dark lager

This dark lager is our Collaboration brew with the Turtle Survival Alliance - our spin on the classic Schwarzbier Dark German Lager. A blend of German Dark Munich and Caramel malts give this beer its rich complexity and mild sweetness. Notes of dark chocolate and coffee will be immediately noticeable. A light hop backbone holds this beer together, and our house lager yeast keeps this dark beer light and sessionable. A portion of the sales will be donated to TSA.

publican
pub ale

This English-style pub ale is sessionable with a lower 5.1% ABV. Publicans are British pub owners who make sure your glass stays full. Perfect for those late night conversations about politics and the world at large, it will keep your mind sharp and your palate happy. It has a floral nose, the body is malty, but has a crisp finish. Hopped with East Kent Goldings and Fuggles.

spilt milk (on nitro)
milk stout

Our take on this classic style has big roasted barley flavor on the front end and balanced sweetness on the backend. Milk stout, sometimes called ‘cream’ or ‘sweet’ stout, is a stout containing lactose, a sugar derived from milk. Lactose is unfermentable by beer yeast, so it adds sweetness and body to the finished beer. In the early 1900s milk stouts were considered nutritious and recommended to expecting and nursing mothers.

putin the terrible mexican hot chocolate
russian imperial stout

Our Russian Imperial Stout is made in the tradition of 18th Century English brewers, who supplied this style to the royal court of Russia’s Catherine the Great. This version of the style uses slightly higher hopping rates of Centennial and Chinook hops to balance the beer. The result is an intense brew with rich complex flavors and a warm finish. Putin may be terrible, but this beer isn’t. We currently have this on Nitro in the taproom. We have added cinnamon, chipotle peppers, vanilla, and chocolate to this batch!

Barrel Aged Trials & Tripelations with cranberries
belgain sytle tripel ale

This Belgian-style Tripel is dominated by fruity esters of orange and banana, balanced with some residual sweetness from the malt. The Belgian yeast imparts a complex but mild spice and presents as a yeast haze in the glass. We aged this version on Chardonnay barrels and then refermented it on apples! This beer style ages well over time so sample it often and enjoy the journey. This batch was aged on red wine barrels and cranberries!
